Personalization has almost always been very important in the world of Android phones. Almost from the beginning the operating system allowed us to change many elements, from icons to wallpapers, through the main element: the desktop.
For this, a multitude of launchers or desktop replacements were designed, applications that replaced the ones that came standard, giving a cleaner, more advanced or more jovial look, as we would like.
Today we tested the launcher that after months of beta is already available in its final version. Is called Lawnchair 2 and is very similar to Pixel Launcher.
A simple and clean aesthetic
This new launcher is not intended for those people who like to recharge their phones a lot. Rather it is focused on lovers of Nova Launcher, one of the most famous Android apps.
Lawnchair 2 It allows us to have a fairly minimalist design, with an application drawer that appears when we make an upward gesture on the desktop. If we want we can install Lawnfeed, which will enable Discover on the left side of the desks.
In each of the icons we will have the application shortcuts, if our mobile has Android 8 or a later version. The same goes for the notification points, which let us know which apps have pending actions without having to slide the notification bar.
The size of the text is variable, so that we choose a larger or smaller letter depending on our tastes, and by default we have the weather in a widget at the top of the central desk and the search bar at the bottom, of way very similar to the way Pixels have it.
There are many options that we have in the settings, such as being able to change the icons, being able to activate the dark mode even automatically, or deciding which elements appear in some widgets.
Free and without integrated purchases
This application can be downloaded for free from the Play Store. But the striking thing is that it has neither a paid version nor integrated purchases, so if it catches your attention you can try it without any cost.
