In recent months we have seen how the technology behind deepfakes has evolved a lot. What was previously done through hours of calculation on very powerful computers and with complex tools is now done more easily.
This is taken to the extreme in the applications that begin to appear in the app stores to be able to use our face in the most famous GIFs and memes of the network.
A few weeks ago we talked about one of the first ace, Morphin, which worked well but had few options. Today we bring you another one that although it does not give such an accurate result, it has hundreds of GIFs to edit.
A simple and fast process
One of the things that attracts the attention of this application is that it allows us to edit a GIF in a few seconds. The process is much faster than in other similar applications, and there are many options.
Mind you, it has a catch. We will have to take the photo from the application, since it does not allow uploading one from the gallery. The good part is that we can take several photos, or take them to other people, and choose the one we want for each creation.
Choosing your character
A function that I had not seen in Morphin is that allows us to randomly choose which character in a series we look like. When the system does, it creates a random GIF of that actor, using our face. For example, in Joey I got out. Of course, in Game of Thrones I have left Missandei … and it is not that I think much, I would like.
The creators say that this app does not share the data with third companies so if you want to have a little fun you can install it on your mobile and create some GIFs to share with your friends.
