Do you remember that smartwatch? It broke the trend in smart watches by betting on a really round dial ; however much I had the inconvenience of the lower strip to lighten the brightness sensor. A second generation eliminated that strip, but it did not curdle enough for Motorola to keep the watch range active since Lenovo canceled it. And now comes a third generation of Moto 360 that is not manufactured by Motorola .

The Moto G8 Play is quite contained in basic features since its 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage are far behind in what anyone would expect in a mid-range. Yes it offers a good cleaning in terms of software since Motorola does not integrate excessive proprietary software. With another problem: the mobile part of the series with Android 9 Pie , a detail that should not go unnoticed.

The Motorola One range continues to increase, this year it has been the One Boom, now the new Motorola One Macro . A smartphone that accompanies the One Action , One Vision and One Zoom . That, incidentally, it is not too difficult to know the main feature of the new device.

Yes, indeed, it is what you are thinking. The new Motorola One Macro has as its main claim a sensor dedicated exclusively to the photography of small objects at close range. Thus completing the range of sensors that we can find in a smartphone.

Taking a brief look at the specifications of the new Motorola One Macro we can see some differences with respect to its range partners, placing this new smartphone as the simplest of all available models.

Great autonomy and absence of Android One

The new Motorola One Macro is accompanied by great autonomy thanks to the combination of its 4000 mAh battery and its Mediatek Helio P70 processor. Two aspects that, together with the use of clean software as Motorola usually characterizes, will provide us with hours away from an outlet.

In case you need to charge the phone, we have fast charging , so in a few minutes we will have a sufficient recharge for our needs. Returning to the software section, the new member of the Motorola One range has dispensed with Android One . Something that is compensated in some way by Motorola’s clean software.

Macro photography as the main claim

Within the photographic section we have several sensors to display our visual arts. A 13 megapixel sensor with laser focus is the one that we will use in our day-to-day photos, which is accompanied by a 2 megapixel depth sensor that will give us that much desired blur in the portraits.

But we already know that the main claim of the new Motorola One Macro is its sensor dedicated to macro photography . Something remarkable in a smartphone since, without the need for external accessories, it will allow us to take close pictures of those small details that surround us.

Price and availability

The new Motorola One Macro will be available for sale during the month of December this year at a price of € 199 for the only version of 64 GB of storage ; that we can expand with a microSD of up to 512 GB . Being able to choose between two colors: space blue and ultraviolet .

Moto E6 Play: features of the cheapest Motorola

The Motorola Moto E6 range expands, reaching the most economical and casual model of all. An affordable and balanced phone for basic use.

The most affordable range of Motorola has been evolving since that first revolutionary Motorola E. A device that came to show that a cheap smartphone did not imply having a bad user experience. Now we get a new member in the Moto E6 range.

Specifically, we are faced with the simplest model of all, the Motorola E6 Play, a phone that picks up the witness of that first model and brings it to the year 2019. Let’s not expect a large display of sensors, or impossible fingerprint readers, but What we will have will be a durable device and that is always when we need it.

Motorola E6 Play features

As we said before, in the new Moto E6 Play we cannot expect great shows. Its specifications are fair and necessary for basic daily use. Allowing us the occasional joy thanks to its 13 megapixel camera or its ample storage, as more outstanding features.

The set is completed with essentials such as the headphone jack or the FM radio , a luxury considering that in the high ranges it is disappearing. In addition to a generous autonomy thanks to the union of its 3000 mAh battery and a lightweight Mediatek MT6739 .

Fingerprint reader and face unlock

That a smartphone is affordable does not mean that it is not safe, after all it houses a large part of our digital life. To keep prying eyes away from our data, the new Moto E6 Play incorporates a rear fingerprint reader , accompanied by the option of unlocking our device using facial recognition .

In case this is not enough, we also have a 5.5-inch screen for our joy and enjoy in leisure time. And also to be able to visualize the photos that we can take using the 13 megapixels of its rear camera or the selfies of its front camera of 5 megapixels .

Motorola Moto G8 Plus features: renewed and with better photography

Motorola renews its most iconic range with the Moto G8 Plus, a mobile that will fight for the competitive midrange range. More cameras, more battery …

Renewals in the mobile range are increasingly frequent, even for a company like Motorola and its most iconic range, the Moto G. Touch to forget an update every year since the manufacturer has just presented its new Moto G8 Plus without nine months from the previous Moto G7 . Mobile competition does not forgive.

The jump between the two generations is not too high, but there is a greater effort for photography and the number of cameras integrated in the phone. A more powerful mobile to offer improved features to users; maintaining the cost content, Motorola’s characteristic design and good materials, this is the new Moto G8 Plus .

Motorola maintains the design line of the One offering a well-used front, large screen size and multiple cameras for the rear face. In this case, the brand is committed to placing a module in quadruple appearance that hides three cameras and the laser focus sensor . Ahead we see the already common cut in the form of a drop of water. And with balanced hardware in containment.

Motorola Moto G8 Plus features

The Snapdragon 665 already implies the mid-range soul of this Motorola G8 Plus: it is not the most powerful of Qualcomm, it is enough and enough to give you a quality Android experience in most conditions. With large battery, without losing details less and less seen, such as the headphone jack or the triple SIM tray (two nano SIMs and SD Card) and with the aforementioned aspiration to be the header camera in its price range.

Then we leave you with the Motorola Moto G8 Plus data sheet:

  • Processor – Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 eight-core.
  • RAM memory : 4 GB.

Moto G8 Play features have been leaked almost completely

We already know what features the Moto G8 Play will have, the cheapest of the three models of the new Motorola Moto G8 family.

A few days ago we showed you the images of one of the new terminals that Motorola was about to present, the Moto G8 Play, a device that seemed somewhat better than expected for the name it had.

Now we can check it since all its features have been filtered since several distributors have put it on sale before its official announcement, although without stock to be able to buy them.

Interestingly, the same data from the other two models that the Motorola Moto G8 and the Motorola Moto G8 Plus have not been leaked.

Motorola Moto G8 Play filtered features

  • Processor – Helio P70
  • RAM memory: 2 GB.
  • Storage
    • Internal: 32 GB.
    • MicroSD: yes
  • Screen .
    • Size: 6.2 inches.
    • Resolution: 1560 x 720 pixels.
    • LCD technology
  • Rear camera.
    • Resolution: 13 + 2 + 2 Mpx
    • Others: LED Flash
  • Front camera.
    • Resolution: 8 Mpx.
  • Connectivity: 4G / LTE, Dual SIM, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11 …
  • Others:
    • Micro USB connector.
    • Rear fingerprint sensor.
    • 3.5 mm jack
  • Weight: 184g
  • Battery: 4000 mAh
  • System:
    • Android version: 9 Pie.

As you can see, the specifications point to a low-end terminal, especially for its internal memory and its RAM, no matter how much we have three sensors in the rear area, something that surprised us at the beginning.

If we want a new, more powerful Motorola, we should look at the Moto G8 Plus which, in theory, will be presented at the same time as this new Moto G8 Play.
